Illinois Senate mourns the death of Robert "Bob" Mork of Wheaton, who passed away on May 29, 2012.

Mork served as a Wheaton City Councilman from 1993 to 2005, worked as attorney and advisor to the DuPage County Forest Preserve District, and served as DuPage County Public Guardian.

He was a graduate of Wheaton Central High School and Wheaton College, earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School, and served as law clerk for Illinois Supreme Court Justice Howard Ryan.

A 45-year Wheaton resident and partner at the law firm Kuhn, Mitchell, Moss, Mork, and Lechowicz in Naperville, he was survived by his wife Lorraine, three sons (David, Brian, and Christopher), and two sisters.

A suitable copy of this resolution is to be presented to Mork's family as a symbol of the Senate's sincere sympathy.
