Acknowledge Mezger's 15-year career at Great Lakes Civil Service before retiring in 2001 and his membership in Queen of Peace Church in North Chicago

Mourn Mezger's passing and extend sincere condolences to his surviving wife, six children, eight grandchildren, siblings, and extended family

Direct that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Mezger's family as an expression of sympathy
