Commemorates the life and death of Dr. Norris A. Erickson, who passed away on August 20, 2012, at age 68.

Recognizes Dr. Erickson's service as a U.S. Army military policeman stationed in Panama from 1965 to 1967.

Honors his 40-year chiropractic career beginning in 1972, including establishing the Erickson Chiropractic Center in Aurora in 1976, one of the largest children's practices in the area.

Acknowledges his extensive community involvement including leadership roles in the American Legion, Masonic Lodge, 20 years on the Aurora Airport Board, and instrumental efforts to bring the Moving Wall to Aurora and revive the Fourth of July parade.

Expresses the Illinois Senate's condolences to his surviving family: wife Sally, daughters Krista, Karsta, and Christine, son Phillip, and three grandchildren.
