Victor A. Laska of Libertyville passed away on September 10, 2012, at age 79.

Korean War combat veteran and member of Libertyville American Legion Post #329 who owned North Shore Sign and served as director of the Illinois Sign Association.

Active community member serving as past chairman of the Libertyville Chamber of Commerce, member of the Green Oaks plan commission for 10 years, and participant in St. Joseph Parish and the Libertyville Lions Club.

Survived by his wife Barbara (married 55 years), three children, nine grandchildren, and one sister.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and will present a copy of this resolution to his family.
