Worked for several Illinois state agencies including the EPA, Department of Children and Family Services, Emergency Management Services, and Department of Aging as a Senior Public Administrator

Listed in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" and was a former AFSCME member; enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams, collecting baseball cards, wine making, and attending farmer's markets with family
