Donna J. Hayes of Alton passed away on September 12, 2012, at age 74.

Hayes was born March 5, 1938, in La Salle and married Donald E. Hayes on June 1, 1958, in Springfield.

She worked for the Illinois State Police, Bethalto National Bank, and U.S. Bank, and was a member of College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Alton.

Hayes is survived by her husband Donald, four sons, one daughter, 12 grandchildren, and her sister Kay Steele.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Hayes' family and friends and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to her family.
