Illinois Senate recognizes the death of Michael John Dukewich of Rolling Meadows, who passed away on September 29, 2012.

Dukewich was born August 22, 1954, in Chicago, graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1972, and earned a degree from Florida International University in 1976.

Served as an award-winning cameraman for ABC Channel 7 News for 35 years as a committed member of the Chicago News Team.

Survived by his wife Christy (Poston) Dukewich, son Clay, mother Carol, and multiple siblings, in-laws, and nieces and nephews.

Senate mourns his passing and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of sympathy.
