Senate Resolution mourning the death of Gerald R. "Goose" Lounsberry of Hanna City, who passed away on October 13, 2012

Lounsberry served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1966 and worked as a drill-press operator at International Harvester in Canton for 25 years before retiring in 1989 after 30 years of service

Lounsberry later worked for the Village of Hanna City until his final retirement in 2010 and was a member of the Hanna City Sportsman's Club, Farmington Moose Lodge, and Bartonville American Legion

Lounsberry is survived by his wife Irene, two children, two step-children, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, one brother, and three sisters

Illinois Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Lounsberry family as an expression of sympathy
