Arthur William Konneker of Carlinville died on November 16, 2012, at age 78.

Konneker was born May 9, 1934, graduated from Carlinville High School in 1952, served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, and married Jana Ruth Early on August 18, 1956.

He worked as a grain and livestock farmer in the Carlinville area until his 1986 retirement, later worked for M&M service company, and was a member of Elks Lodge #1412.

Konneker is survived by three children (Kim, Elizabeth, and Scott), six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several siblings and extended family members.

The Senate expresses condolences to Konneker's family and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to them as a symbol of sympathy.
