Michael Stephen Schwab of Carlinville passed away on May 10, 2012; he was born December 1, 1955.

Graduated from Carlinville High School in 1973 and worked as a grain and livestock farmer in Honey Point Township for over 40 years, and as a mechanic for Smith Equipment Company.

Member of Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville, Macoupin County Fair Board, Carlinville Moose Lodge, and founder of the "Kahuna Club."

Survived by his wife Jill, daughters Amanda J. Steward and Taylor A. Schwab, son Quenton A. Schwab, grandson Carter Zilm, parents Albert and Mary Schwab, two brothers, one sister, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Illinois Senate mourns his passing and directs a copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of sympathy.
