Mary Jane Rudd Rimbey passed away on November 29, 2012; she was born on July 18, 1927, in Decatur to Alfred Clayton Sr. and Estella Jane Pollock Rudd.

Served as a registered nurse for 50 years before retiring in 1997, including service as Director of the Visiting Nurses Association of Morgan and Scott Counties.

Graduated from Springfield High School and Memorial Hospital School of Nursing; was a member of Murrayville United Methodist Church where she implemented the Parish Nurse program.

Survived by daughters Peggy Zachary Jr. and Linda Wheal, sons Fred and Cliff Rimbey, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and close friends.

Illinois Senate expresses mourning for her passing and directs that suitable copies of the resolution be presented to her family as an expression of sympathy.
