Expresses condolences for the death of Robert Francis James of Aurora, who passed away on December 14, 2012, at age 98.

Recognizes James's career as a realtor in Aurora and his work for Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego during World War II.

Honors James's extensive civic involvement, including serving as twice past president of the Aurora Luncheon Optimist Club, lieutenant governor and governor for Optimists of Illinois (1973-1974), and past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. Chapter #705.

Notes James's service on the Aurora Redevelopment Commission and Aurora Civic Center Authority, and his life membership in Optimist International received in 1979.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to James's family as an expression of sympathy.
