Congratulates Senator Suzi Schmidt on her retirement from the Illinois Senate after 2 years of service representing Lake County's 31st District since 2011.

Recognizes Schmidt's environmental accomplishments, including instrumental work on the Land Acquisition Committee (1988-2010) that resulted in the purchase and protection of 16,297 acres of land in Lake County, 34 new Forest Preserves, and additions to 54 existing preserves.
