IL HB1221

Amends the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act to add a new eligibility exclusion under Section 20(e)(3).

Makes children who are undocumented immigrants ineligible for coverage under the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Program.

Modifies existing eligibility requirements by changing the language connecting exclusion criteria from "or" to "or" with the addition of the undocumented immigrant exclusion as item (3).

Maintains all other existing eligibility criteria including state residency, household income at or below 300% of federal poverty level, and ineligibility for other public assistance programs.
