Requires real estate professionals seeking this exemption to complete 20 hours of security officer training and 20 hours of firearm training, then obtain a firearm control card from the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Firearm control card renewal conditions mirror those of the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004.

Card must be carried at all times when the licensed real estate professional possesses a concealable firearm.
