IL HB1311

Amends the Methamphetamine Precursor Tracking Act to expand the definition of "qualified outside entity" to include probation and court services departments, the Department of Corrections, the Department of Juvenile Justice, U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services System, and the U.S. Parole Commission.

Expands access to electronic transaction records maintained by the central repository to allow authorized representatives from these additional entities to receive confidential information about methamphetamine precursor distributions.

Defines "convenience package" as containing 360 milligrams or less of ephedrine or pseudoephedrine in liquid or liquid-filled capsule form.

Establishes comprehensive definitions for terms related to methamphetamine precursor tracking, including "electronic transaction record," "recipient," "targeted methamphetamine precursor," and "retail distributor."

Takes effect upon becoming law.
