• Makes it unlawful for any person having control over harvested game mammals, game birds, or migratory game birds to wantonly waste or destroy usable meat.

• Defines "usable meat" as the breast meat of game birds or migratory game birds and the hind and front quarters of game mammals.

• Prohibits placing, leaving, dumping, or abandoning wildlife carcasses or parts along public rights-of-way, highways, waterways, or on public or private property without owner permission.

• Exempts wildlife taken under Sections 2.37 or 3.22 of the Wildlife Code from the wanton waste prohibition.

• Allows discarding of game meat if damaged or unusable after freezing, or if filthy, putrid, decomposed, or otherwise unfit for human consumption.
