IL HB2368

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code Section 11-1427 regarding illegal operation of all-terrain vehicles and off-highway motorcycles.

Changes firearm possession requirements for persons operating or riding all-terrain vehicles and off-highway motorcycles from compliance with Section 2.33 of the Wildlife Code to compliance with Sections 24-1, 24-1.6, and 24-2 of the Criminal Code of 2012.

Prohibits persons (except those permitted by law) from operating or riding all-terrain vehicles or off-highway motorcycles while in possession of any firearm unless in compliance with the specified Criminal Code provisions.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
