Amends Section 107-4 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 regarding arrests by peace officers outside their jurisdiction.

Removes the requirement that a peace officer be "personally aware" of a crime, allowing officers to conduct temporary questioning and make arrests if they become aware (through any means) of the immediate commission of a felony or misdemeanor while on duty.

Permits Illinois law enforcement officers to conduct temporary questioning and make arrests in any jurisdiction within the state under four conditions: investigating an offense in their primary jurisdiction, becoming aware of an immediate crime, being requested to assist another agency, or acting under Department of State Police Law provisions.

Requires that the law enforcement agency of the county or municipality where an arrest is made under this section be immediately notified.

Grants officers acting under this authority the same powers they have within their own jurisdiction.
