Allows 2 or more school districts with coterminous boundaries to combine their transportation activities to achieve economic, environmental, and traffic safety benefits.

State Board of Education shall reimburse participating school districts in the year following savings achievement in an amount equal to 75% of actual or estimated state savings from reduced reimbursements.

Reimbursement shall be divided among participating districts proportionally based on each district's percentage of the total combined student population.

School districts may jointly contract with other coterminous districts or transportation providers to achieve transportation savings, using forms and supporting documentation prescribed by the State Board of Education.

Act takes effect July 1, 2013.
