County boards may enact a $5 fee for Illinois Vehicle Code violations (other than Section 11-501) and up to $30 for Section 11-501 violations upon guilty judgment or supervision grant.

County boards may impose fees on criminal convictions: $50 for felonies, $25 for Class A misdemeanors, $15 for Class B or C misdemeanors, $10 for petty offenses and business offenses.

A $100 fee applies to second and subsequent Section 11-501 (DUI) violations, with proceeds designated for alcohol and drug impairment education programs.

Counties with Court Appointed Special Advocates may impose a mandatory $10-$30 fee on defendants convicted or granted supervision for any felony, misdemeanor, petty offense, or business offense where a court appearance is required, with funds directed to a CASA Fund.

Fees generally go to the county general fund to finance the court system, except for specified fees directed to drug courts, mental health courts, youth programs, children's advocacy centers, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
