IL HB2703

Amends the Wildlife Code Section 2.5 to permit persons age 14 and under to use a crossbow.

Adds age 14 and under as a new condition allowing crossbow use alongside existing conditions for persons age 62 and older, handicapped persons with Director permits, and during the specified archery deer hunting season period.

Maintains existing definition of "handicapped person" as one with severe physical impairment rendering them unable to use longbow, recurve bow, or compound bow, requiring physician verification for permit issuance.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
