IL HB2733

Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act to prohibit printing any part of a cardholder's name on credit card or debit card receipts provided to cardholders.

Maintains existing prohibitions against printing more than the last 4 digits of card account numbers and card expiration dates on receipts.

Applies to all providers who furnish money, goods, services, or value upon presentation of a credit card or debit card.

Exempts transactions where handwriting or card imprint is the sole means of recording the card account number and transactions on electronic benefits transfer cards under federal regulation 7 CFR 274.12(g)(3).

Violations constitute unlawful practices under Illinois consumer fraud law.
