IL HB2748

Amends the Illinois Finance Authority Act to add agribusiness and production agriculture to the list of recognized expertise areas for Authority board member appointments.

Requires the Authority to maintain at least 2 board members with expertise in agribusiness or production agriculture at all times.

Changes the authority's consideration of "labor relations" expertise by making it one of several optional areas rather than a required area for appointments.

Maintains the 15-member board structure appointed by the Governor with Senate approval, with members serving 3-year terms after initial staggered appointments.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
