Illinois Commerce Commission shall create and maintain a directory of all authorized 9-1-1 systems in the state with emergency 10-digit telephone numbers for each Primary Public Safety Answering Point

Each 9-1-1 system must provide the Commission with a 10-digit emergency telephone number for receiving transferred calls from other jurisdictions within 30 days of the law's effective date

Each 9-1-1 system must submit standard operating procedures to the Commission within 180 days describing how it will transfer, forward, or relay 9-1-1 calls that originate in its jurisdiction but should be answered by another 9-1-1 system

Directory of 9-1-1 contact information shall be made available to all 9-1-1 authorities to establish procedures for handling calls outside their jurisdiction

Section automatically repeals on December 31, 2015; Act takes effect January 1, 2014
