IL HB2896

Amends the Department of Transportation Law to require the Department to notify businesses impacted by road construction projects expected to last 3 weeks or more before construction begins.

Requires the Department to provide each impacted business with notice of the construction start date, estimated completion time, and a Department contact for questions or concerns.

Mandates the Department post a downloadable document on its website with strategies for businesses to reduce the impact of road construction projects.
