Amends Section 5-4.5-50 of the Unified Code of Corrections to add new provisions regarding felony fines for public officials convicted of felonies related to their elected office.

Creates a new subsection (b-5) allowing courts to impose fines on public officials convicted of felonies connected to their elected office in an amount up to the greater of the salary and fringe benefits received after the first act constituting the felony, or $25,000.

Requires a separate finding of fact by the trier of fact beyond a reasonable doubt that the offender is a public official and that the felony conviction relates to, arises from, or connects to their holding of elected office.

Defines "public official" as specified in Section 9-1.11 of the Election Code.

Maintains existing felony fine provisions (up to $25,000 or amount specified in the offense) for all other offenders, except where the new public official provision applies.
