IL HB2975

Amends the School Code sections on school psychological services and school social work services to permit professionals holding Professional Educator Licenses with appropriate endorsements to provide these services, in addition to those holding Type 73 School Service Personnel Certificates.

Clarifies that nothing in the school psychological services section prohibits school social workers from providing listed psychological services for which they are appropriately trained.

Adds a new provision to school social work services allowing school social workers to provide school psychological services listed under Section 14-1.09.1 if the person is appropriately trained.

Permits other qualified professionals to provide services in both sections if they are appropriately trained, expanding the pool of eligible service providers beyond certified specialists.
