Department of Corrections must provide written notification of felony offender releases electronically if the State's Attorney, sheriff, law enforcement agency, or public housing agency has provided an accurate and up-to-date email address.

Department must notify public housing agencies within 14 days before release (or as soon as possible) if a released offender will reside at a housing facility owned, managed, operated, or leased by a public housing agency.

Department must provide wrongfully imprisoned persons with necessary documents and identification cards before discharge from the Department.

Department must notify the Department of State Police of releases of persons convicted under the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act or Methamphetamine Precursor Control Act.

Department must provide facility information within 3 days to licensed facilities and notify the Prisoner Review Board, police chiefs, and sheriffs when parolees or mandatory supervised release individuals become residents of Department of Public Health, Illinois Department of Public Aid, or Illinois Department of Human Services facilities.
