• Creates the Real Property Stakeholder Arson Investigation Authorization Act allowing property owners, mortgagees, lienholders, and beneficial interest holders to file an affidavit authorizing law enforcement to file arson complaints on their behalf

• Property stakeholders may file the authorization affidavit with the county sheriff (for unincorporated areas) or local law enforcement agency (for incorporated areas) where the property is located

• Affidavit must include the property address and contact addresses for the property owner/agent, mortgagee/agent, lienholder/agent, or beneficial interest holder/agent
