HB3115 Summary

• Removes requirement that resident veterans must have served abroad or been mobilized by the President to receive discounted fishing licenses, effective starting with the 2013 license year.

• Eliminates the service abroad/mobilization requirement for resident veterans age 65 or older to receive discounted sportsmen's combination licenses and hunting licenses, effective starting with the 2013 license year.

• Allows all resident veterans of the United States Armed Forces to receive one-half of the current license fee for fishing, hunting, and sportsmen's combination licenses upon providing service verification to the Department at one of its five regional offices.

• Effective date is April 1, 2013.
