IL HB3339

Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois to require state departments to accept military education, training, or experience toward occupational or professional licenses if substantially similar to standard requirements.

Defines "service member" as any person on active duty with the U.S. Armed Forces, reserves, or National Guard, or whose active duty service concluded within the 2 years before application.

Requires service member applicants to submit proof of military status and that the requested license or certification is related to their military occupational specialty (MOS).

Authorizes departments to adopt rules for implementation and administration and to set fees associated with processing these applications.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
