Amends Section 2-1117 of the Code of Civil Procedure regarding joint and several liability in negligence and product liability cases involving bodily injury, death, or property damage.

All defendants remain jointly and severally liable for plaintiff's past and future medical and medically related expenses.

Defendants with less than 25% fault are severally liable (not jointly liable) for all other damages, meaning each defendant is only responsible for their proportional share.

Defendants with 25% or greater fault remain jointly and severally liable for all other damages, meaning they can be held responsible for the full amount.

Removes the exception that previously excluded the plaintiff's employer from liability calculations.
