Appropriates $25,918,400 in General Funds, $4,080,000 in Other State Funds, and $5,500,000 in Federal Funds totaling $35,498,400 for the Board of Higher Education and Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy for fiscal year ending June 30, 2014.

Allocates $2,701,000 from General Revenue Fund to Board of Higher Education for ordinary and contingent expenses including personal services ($2,126,000), contractual services ($425,000), and other operational costs.

Appropriates $16,880,300 from Education Assistance Fund and $3,050,000 from IMSA Income Fund to Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy for personnel, contractual services, travel, commodities, and equipment.

Provides targeted funding for specific higher education initiatives including P-20 Longitudinal Education Data System ($588,100), STEM diversity programs ($765,000), Cooperative Work Study Programs ($1,015,000), and faculty diversity grants ($1,584,600).

Act takes effect July 1, 2013.
