Appropriates $878,600 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Police Merit Board for ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, including personnel services ($422,500), contractual services ($376,300), and other operational costs.

Appropriates $500,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for ordinary and contingent expenses of the State Police Merit Board.

Appropriates $4,300,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for all costs associated with a cadet program for the Department of State Police.

Total appropriations equal $5,678,600 across General Funds ($878,600) and Other State Funds ($4,800,000).

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
