IL HB3669

Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to establish enhanced penalties for carrying a firearm on school property in violation of existing restrictions.

Makes it a Class 4 felony for a first offense to knowingly carry a firearm on or into a building, real property, or parking area controlled by a public or private pre-school, elementary or secondary school, college, or university.

Makes a second or subsequent offense a Class 3 felony for the same violation of carrying a firearm on school property.

Applies the enhanced penalties only when the violation involves paragraphs (1), (2), or (15) of Section 65 of the Concealed Carry Act.

Maintains existing license suspension and revocation procedures, with permanent revocation required for 3 or more violations of Section 65.
