Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 to update Section 19-5 regarding criminal fortification of residences or buildings.

Expands the definition of "fortified condition" to include video surveillance, motion sensing devices, and booby traps in addition to existing barriers like steel doors and alarm systems.

Specifies that video surveillance alone constitutes fortification only when intended to alert occupants to law enforcement presence, facilitate evidence destruction, or enable harm to officers.

Defines "booby trap" as any device designed to cause physical injury or destroy evidence when triggered by someone approaching, entering, or moving through a structure.

Maintains criminal fortification as a Class 3 felony and clarifies the statute does not apply to methamphetamine manufacturing operations under the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act.
