• Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act to expand prohibited areas where licensees cannot carry firearms, including licensed video gaming establishments, fraternal establishments, and veterans establishments where alcohol is served.

• Creates new category (16.1) prohibiting firearm carry in buildings under control of licensed fraternal, veterans, or truck stop establishments under the Video Gaming Act when alcohol is not served on premises.

• Changes definition of who can prohibit firearms on private property from "owner" to "any person lawfully in possession and control," with private residences presumed to prohibit firearms without requiring posted signage.

• Allows licensees to store firearms in locked vehicles or containers in prohibited parking areas and to briefly carry firearms in immediate vehicle vicinity solely for storing or retrieving firearms from vehicle trunks.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
