HB4395 - IDOT Land Conveyance Summary

• Secretary of Department of Transportation authorized to convey land parcels in McLean and Madison Counties to Todd R. Eades ($2,300), Darren Vollmer ($2,000), and SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church ($3,100) by quitclaim deed upon payment of specified amounts.

• State of Illinois releases dedication and easement rights on parcels in Logan County ($31,800), McLean County ($52,667), Cook County ($2,483.33), and Bond County ($2,900) from highway purposes upon receipt of payment.

• Secretary of Transportation must obtain certified copy of Act containing property descriptions within 69 days and record document in applicable county Recorder's Office upon receipt of required payments.

• Amends P.A. 95-604 to clarify that surplus property conveyed to City of Chicago for $1 must be used for charitable, educational, or public purposes within 10 years or title reverts to State of Illinois.

• Act takes effect upon becoming law.
