Amends Section 27-6 of the School Code regarding physical education requirements and excuses for pupils in grades 9-12

Authorizes school boards to excuse students in grades 9-12 enrolled in 2 or more Advanced Placement (AP) courses from physical education for no more than 2 school years, with no other electives allowed except those required for college admission or graduation

Authorizes school boards to excuse students in grades 9-12 enrolled in dual credit courses with institutions of higher learning from physical education requirements

Authorizes school boards to excuse students in grades 9-12 enrolled in marching band programs for credit and students enrolled in Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) from physical education courses

Maintains existing exemptions for interscholastic athletes, students requiring specific academic courses for college admission or high school graduation, special education students, and students with individualized education programs participating in adaptive athletic programs
