Secretary of State may issue United Nations Operation in Somalia license plates to eligible Illinois residents upon receipt of applicable fees and applications

Special plates may be affixed only to passenger vehicles of the first division, motorcycles, and motor vehicles of the second division weighing not more than 8,000 pounds

Plates shall expire according to the staggered multi-year procedure established by Section 3-414.1 of the Illinois Vehicle Code

Secretary of State has discretion over plate design, color, and format, and may allow plates to be issued as vanity or personalized plates

Plates are not required to include the "Land Of Lincoln" designation, and Secretary shall prescribe eligibility requirements and approve stickers or decals as applicable
