Amends Section 21B-25 of the School Code regarding educator license endorsements issued by the State Board of Education.

Allows school support personnel experience to count toward the principal endorsement requirement until June 30, 2019, in addition to the standard four years of teaching experience.

Permits the State Board of Education to allow fewer than four years of experience for principal endorsement based on demonstrated qualifications, performance evaluations, and other evidence of competency.

Converts general administrative endorsements to principal endorsements for eligible educators who held such endorsements before September 1, 2014, through three optional pathways: passing a principal assessment, completing an Illinois Educators' Academy course (by July 1, 2019), or completing an approved principal preparation program.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
