Permits use of .22 long rifle caliber firearms, pistols, or airguns to remove beaver, river otter, weasel, mink, and muskrat from traps, in addition to existing trap-only regulations.

Restricts trapping of beaver and river otter to the period between November 1 and March 31 annually.

Sets season limits for river otter at no more than 5 per person per season.

Maintains existing prohibitions on bobcat hunting at any time in Illinois.

Allows possession of fur-bearing mammals found dead or unintentionally killed by vehicles during open season, provided the person holds appropriate licenses and the species season is open.
