Amends the Counties Code to require coroners to report all deaths where a drug overdose is determined to be a contributing factor to the Department of Public Health.

Defines "overdose" using the same meaning as provided in Section 414 of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act.

Adds this reporting requirement alongside existing requirements for coroners to report deaths caused by fire to the State Fire Marshal and deaths involving domestic violence to the Department of State Police.
