Amends the Illinois Architecture Practice Act of 1989 by modifying sections related to licensing, Board composition, professional practice standards, and disciplinary procedures for architects.

Removes the term "licensed" from various statutory references while maintaining licensing requirements, changing language from "licensed architect" to "architect" throughout the act.

Adds Section 37.5 establishing confidentiality protections for information collected during Department examinations or investigations, with limited exceptions for law enforcement, other regulatory agencies, and lawful subpoenas.

Modifies professional design firm registration requirements to allow professional land surveyors as eligible design professionals and clarifies managing agent designation procedures for firms with multiple locations.

Updates examination procedures to require applicants to apply for licensure within one year of successfully completing all examination and experience requirements, or retake the examination unless the Department finds sufficient cause for delay.
