Amends the Illinois Pension Code to add notice requirements for downstate police and firefighter pension boards under Sections 3-143.5 and 4-134.5

Requires pension boards to provide written notice to the mayor or president of the municipal board of trustees at least 48 hours before each meeting

Notice must include the meeting's time, date, location, and agenda in addition to any requirements under the Open Meetings Act

Voids any actions taken at a meeting where the required notice was not provided to municipal leadership

Becomes effective immediately upon passage
