• Appropriates $279.8 million to the Department of Children and Family Services from the General Revenue Fund for personal services, social security contributions, contractual services, travel, commodities, printing, equipment, electronic data processing, telecommunications, and automotive equipment operations.

• Allocates $16.1 million from the DCFS Special Purposes Trust Fund for Attorney General representation on child welfare litigation ($474,000) and the AFCARS/SACWIS information system ($15.4 million).

• Appropriates $400.5 million from the General Revenue Fund and $427.8 million from the DCFS Children's Services Fund for grants-in-aid covering foster care, adoption services, counseling, group home care, family preservation, and health care networks.

• Allocates $24.3 million for protective/family maintenance day care, $10 million for foster care and adoption care training, and $3 million for Title IV-E juvenile justice program reimbursements.
