Appropriates $897,700 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Police Merit Board for ordinary and contingent expenses, including personal services ($459,900), contractual services ($353,900), and other operational costs.

Appropriates $500,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for the board's ordinary and contingent expenses.

Appropriates $4,300,000 from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for all costs associated with a cadet program for the Department of State Police.

Act takes effect July 1, 2014.
