• Appropriates $678,700 from the General Revenue Fund to the Judicial Inquiry Board for ordinary and contingent expenses including personal services, retirement contributions, contractual services, and equipment.

• Appropriates $21,101,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for personal services, social security contributions, contractual services, and technology expenses.

• Provides additional funding to the State Appellate Defender including $200,000 from the Federal Trust Fund for systemic sentencing appeals, $175,000 for the Expungement Program, and $63,000 for the Public Defender Training Program.

• Appropriates $11,130,350 from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor for personal services, retirement contributions, and operational expenses, plus $2,000,000 for a grant to the Cook County State's Attorney.

• Takes effect July 1, 2014.
