Designates the portion of Illinois Route 143 within the city limits of Highland as the Cpl. Aaron J. Ripperda Memorial Highway.

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation erect plaques or signs at suitable locations to identify the memorial highway, consistent with state and federal regulations.

Honors Corporal Aaron J. Ripperda, a 2nd Marine Division member born January 6, 1987 in Breese who was killed on March 18, 2013 in an explosion during training at Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada.

Recognizes Ripperda's service including deployments to Haiti for earthquake recovery efforts and Afghanistan, his 2011 promotion to corporal, and honors including a Navy Unit Commendation and Humanitarian Service Medal.

Directs suitable copies of the resolution be presented to Ripperda's family and the Illinois Department of Transportation Secretary.
